What is a Webinar? A Webinar is an interactive training session that allows participants to ask the host questions in a chat format. The Webinar host can show presentations, share his/her computer screen to explain online procedures, and communicate with participants via their computer speakers. Handouts can be downloaded during the Webinar session. Time is allotted at the end of the session for participants to practice online procedures and ask the host specific questions.
What is a Tutorial? A Tutorial is a pre-recorded presentation that briefly walks the participants through specific tasks. Some Tutorials simply give an overview of different aspects of an assessment or resource. Others can be used to familiarize students and staff with available resources.
